Peter always stood up for what was right and had the incredible ability to make everyone feel like they mattered. His “yes” was unconditional. He was the embodiment of giving and strength. He loved deeply, gave generously, and his oxygen was connecting to people. He was incredibly supportive of his family, friends, and community. He believed in all of us as he believed in himself. He was loyal, devoted, and always available through thick and thin. Spending time with Petey never got old. He believed that life was about living and therefore was virtually immune to the physical afflictions caused by stress and worry. It’s not that he didn’t feel those emotions; he just refused to let them consume him. He stayed positive and sought to enjoy all aspects of his life. He was one of a kind. His inner light shined through and warmed the spirits of those around him. He kept life exciting as if each day he pressed the refresh button.
